Slipacoff’s Premium Meats is a leading supplier of first-class meat products in Ontario, providing both wholesale and retail service. Its customers are mainly high-end supermarkets and top restaurants. Slipacoff’s Premium Meats also has its own online website to sell their products directly to the individuals.

We are looking for a talented Supply Chain Manager to join our team to be responsible for the supply chain management to better support our business development.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsible for making and executing the short and long term supply chain management strategies and plans.
Responsible for order placement to meet sales and manufacturing requirements.
Ensure meat demands are met, working with operations and sourcing to provide alternatives plans or substitutions as needed to compensate for shortages, rejections, new priorities and related problems.
Manage supplier relationships on issues and inventory requirements maintaining active dialog with operations to identify opportunities and risks.
Maintain delivery confirmations and acknowledgements to ensure timely deliveries, resolving pricing or date issues with supplier.
Ensures that all purchasing and inventory processes are compliant.
Lead monthly meeting with Sales team and related functional departments. Develop the monthly process to evaluate current inventory to adjust for mix in sales/ability to drive volume towards maximizing profit and minimizing overall risk (OSMI).
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations Management to develop credible consensus regarding demand, supply, and inventory plans which are within demonstrated capacities, budget and inventory targets.
Drive a centralized procurement process across business.
Participate and drive sourcing and negotiating with new suppliers.
Conduct annual supplier reviews or initiatives.
Develop strategies to improve supply chain performance for through process, innovation, and capability development.
Manage the supply chain department and provide training and performance review to the members.
Requirements of the Position

Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain or related fields
Minimum five years of supply chain management experience is required
Must be able to influence, build consensus and work with business teams and corporate.
Cross-functional work style-build teamwork intra and inter company
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proven ability to drive results, roll up sleeves and be hands-on

$43 per hour for 35 hours per week
