We are looking for a full-time Network Systems Manager to join us. The Network Systems Manager manages the daily activities of the network system team and is accountable for network systems design, build, testing, validation, maintenance and ongoing support of all network infrastructure components.
Provides functional leadership and management to the Network staff. Including day-to-day management, annual reviews, and other aspects of leadership.
Regularly establish goals with staff and provide feedback, encouragement, evaluation, discipline and direction to optimize performance.
Lead projects involving interdisciplinary teams, adhering to company policy, regulatory requirements and standards of practice.
Hold routine meetings with team members, partners and managers to document and discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end‐user concerns, upcoming milestones and project status updates.
Works closely with functional teams to ensure infrastructure solutions, policy, process, and approach consistency.
Oversight and management of all Network equipment.
Ensuring each project is aligned with customers’ business priorities.
Ensuring each project is well defined and has plans for success.
Collaborating with stakeholders in the design of Network solutions to meet customers’ business challenges and requirements.
Strengthens key partnerships with network technology hardware, software, and service vendors.
Researches new technologies that deliver business value and operational return.
Analyzes complex business needs, and recommend and facilitate implementation of network enhancements or upgrades to improve performance and reliability of IT solutions.
Delivers cost effective solutions through detailed analysis to determine the Total Cost of Ownership.
Analyzes existing network infrastructure, develops strategy, and presents recommend changes.
Improve team member effectiveness by identifying and executing specific training plans for personal growth and development.
Education, Experience and Skills
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related filed.
10+ years Network experience with 5+ being a direct line manager.
Strategic leader defining roadmap, policy and process for network teams
Significant experience with Cisco
Solid experience with policy and process
Proven track record of project delivery including the coordination and management of projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Knowledge of analysis, design and configuration of complex network systems.
Demonstrated experience successfully developing and coordinating teams and multiple projects in a matrix 24×7 environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management
Salary: $50-$55 per hour, 35 hours per week
