We are looking for a full-time Human Resources Manager to join us to provide a variety of HR services across the business.
Serve as a partner to Business Unit Leaders on matters like performance management, employee relations, company policies, and other HR-related matters.
Guide leaders and employees regarding company policies, values, HR programs, administration, and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner.
Support the processing of payroll by maintaining personnel files, information, documentation.
Communicate compensation and benefits plans and policies to employees.
Oversee workforce planning and employment, including but not limited to, implementing recruiting strategy, interviewing applicants, administering pre-employment tests, assisting with background investigations, new-hire onboarding, processing transfers, promotions, and terminations.
Manage HR development, including but not limited to, conducting training sessions, on-the-job training programs, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, performance management program, and maintaining records of employee participation and development programs.
Manage employee and labor relations, including but not limited to, coaching to management and employees to resolve conflicts to enhance team effectiveness, and ensure support of organization changes and agency goals.
Manage risk management, including but not limited to, developing and administering health and safety programs, conducting safety inspections, maintaining accident/incident reports, preparing government reports as to remain in compliance
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Support the annual performance review program; provide employees and managers with information about the process and policies.
Responsible for the operations of human resources departments.
Education, Experience and Skills
College diploma is a must, higher degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in human resources field
A strong understanding and experience with HR best practices and employee relations
Deep functional HR expertise in how to keep an organization compliant
Experience with creating HR systems and processes and not just executing them, including performance evaluation, compensation bands, and paths of growth
Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of the organization with an emphasis on credibility
Strong follow through, judgment, and a “make it happen” demeanor
Excellent interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence
The ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information and be able to serve as a trusted resource
Salary: $45 per hour, 30 hours per week
